Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is back after a near decade hiatus and as such can’t really be compared with the original. However the demo profile is similar to Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter’s. Hopefully the grosses will be more encouraging, but 20 Million for the weekend would be a happy event.
If I Stay the latest in young adult/teen/no baby boomer is interested in seeing this romance, probably will deliver more than its interest metrics seem to promise right now, but there has been a lot of this stuff lately, much to the dismay of people in my age bracket. It looks a whole lot like Lucky One in demo range, but might not get the same results. Again, somewhere in the upper teens looms.
When the Game Stands Tall isn’t going to cause carpal tunnel syndrome to become rampant among ticket tearing employees. While it looks to encourage a few more young males than Million Dollar Arm, it probably won’t do better. Upper single digits, low teens.
