This Weeks Releases: Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation and Vacation
Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation is the fifth installment of the Tom Cruise’s popular Mission: Impossible franchise and by all critical accounts delivers the goods. When an anti-IMF force arises and the IMF is under fire in congress, the team must go off grid to take down the nefarious group that threatens stability all over the world.
Vacation basically re-traces the adventures of the Griswold family only a generation removed as Rusty attempts to draw the family closer. Cruder by an order of magnitude than the original and not nearly as subtle in its humor (and if you recall how subtle the original National Lampoon’s Vacation was, you get the idea) it is the comedy relief for the weekend. It opened Wednesday.
In limited release is End of the Tour is the story of the five day interview for Rolling Stone by David Lipsky of the late acclaimed novelist, David Foster Wallace.
